About the game
Most of Subscanner is spent underwater. From your raft, you pilot an ROV through all the world's oceans and scan everything that can be found in the sea: shipwrecks, sea life and hidden secrets, and who knows, some say whole cities dwell within the depths. Every scan paints the world into a 3D point cloud, and there's a secret rubber duck hidden on every level. A subtle story runs beneath the surface.
Scanning earns you money, and better data pays more. Careless scanning lowers the scan fidelity and fills your data with fake points, so you clean them up to raise your income. With the money you order furniture and more by message in a bottle, and it arrives in a package floating to your raft. On the raft you decorate, tend your plants, upgrade your ROV and take care of your cat. The cat has an affection level and acts accordingly: treat it well, or get ignored.
There is no danger and no stress in Subscanner. Nothing hunts you, nothing hurts you and nothing hurries you.
